Disney World 2013

Daniel and I planned a last minute trip to Disney World this past weekend.  We decided that we were only going to take Maddox since he would appreciate it the most and is at an age where he would really have fun.  My parents offered to keep Maclain and they really enjoyed getting some alone time with her.  I used Priceline and got a ridiculously cheap place for us to stay Friday and Saturday night. We arrived in Orlando about 10:30 Friday night and went straight to bed.  We hit the ground running bright and early Saturday morning.

We decided to only visit Magic Kingdom since we were just going to be there one full day.  They opened at 9:00 and we got there about 9:30.  It was pretty crowded, but since we did the fast pass with our tickets we never had to stand in a line longer than 10-15 minutes.  It was great!  Maddox had his share of meltdowns, but overall he did really well and had a great time.  We saw a couple of parades, met Buzz and Woody (the highlight for Maddox), rode lots of rides, and stayed through the fireworks.  Maddox crashed in the stroller on our way out of the park.  It was a fun, full day and I am very thankful we got to take him when we did.
