Memorial Day 2012

In typical Memorial Day fashion, we headed up to Nashville this year.  The last time we went was back at Christmas, so we were ready to get there to see family.  Were were planning to leave town and head to Opelika at about 5:30 on Friday, but Daniel ended up having to work until 7:00 so we didn't hit the road until 8:00.  The drive there was perfect... Maclain slept the entire time since we left at bedtime, and Maddox watched movies and talked about getting to Nina and Pop's house.  We got to Opelika at 11:30 and we all went to bed.  We spent the night there and headed out at 8:00 Saturday morning to make the last leg of the trip.  We got to Nashville at lunchtime and had so much fun all weekend.  As you will see, the majority of our time was spent poolside...

We made the drive back all in one day... 10 hours on the road is not my favorite thing. But all things considered, it went pretty well. We made it back about midnight and were thankful to get in our beds. We had a blast in Nashville and look forward to when we will get to go next time! :)
