Back Home

The kids and I headed up to Opelika this past weekend to visit my family.  We had not been in town since July so it felt so good to go home!  We left around 8:30 Friday morning, and with the hour time difference we made it to Opelika just after 11:00.  I was very nervous about traveling with all 3 kids alone, but they all really surprised me.  Miller slept most of the way and only cried a couple times for a very short time, and Maddox was happy as could be with his movies and my kindle. :)  Maclain had a couple of hard moments but nothing too bad.  Thankfully the drive is only 3 1/2 hours... definitely bearable!  We had a great weekend and packed in as much fun as we could...
