A Glimpse of Halloween

This morning I decided that I wanted to work on a couple of shirts for Maddox to wear during the month of October. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do at first, but after browsing on the internet and taking a trip to Hobby Lobby, I decided what I wanted to do. I went and bought the fabric, then the shirts, and this is what I came up with. They look a lot bigger in the pictures than in person, but I think they will fit him. I am really excited! We are ready for Halloween around here!!!

Oh The Stress Of It All

The stress of grocery shopping this morning was just too much for this little fella to take today! "Oh, Mom! Why did you make me go??"

Playdate!!

This afternoon some of Maddox's best buddies came over for a fun little playdate! The boys (and their mommas) had a blast! It was so funny to see them interact with and watch each other. They were so funny and sweet... I can't wait to have many more!

Laundry Fun

Morning Stroll

With Fall getting closer by the day and the nice, cool mornings we are having, Maddox and I decided to get out of the house early this morning and take a leisurely stroll. The weather was so pretty and it was so nice to go on a walk and not come back dripping with sweat. I think he enjoyed it as much as I did...

Wednesday Fun

Our day got off to an early start this morning. I guess that's what happens when your baby goes to sleep at 7:45. Still, though, I cannot complain because right now, Maddox usually sleeps about 10 hours each night. It is wonderful! So before 8:30 this morning, we were back from the grocery store with 2 weeks worth of groceries. I love shopping early in the morning because you basically have the store to yourself. Today was no exception. A little later we got out to run some errands and Maddox had his first experience sitting up in the buggy. What a big boy!...

And during our afternoon playtime today, Maddox discovered his new favorite toy...the basket itself...he was not the least bit interested in the things inside the basket.

He is sitting up by himself pretty well, now, and really loves playing with his toys. We are loving this stage with him!! Don't miss another new post below! :)

Labor Day Weekend

It has been a tradition with Daniel and me to go to Nashville every Labor Day weekend. But this was Maddox's first Labor Day to join us and boy was it fun! We really enjoyed getting to spend time with family and just hang out and relax! We ate some yummy meals, shopped a little, watched movies, and even got to visit with some friends we have not seen since December! It was a blast and we are so glad we got to go! Here are a few highlights from the weekend...
